A film by Willy Perelsztejn
Synopsis
Story of a Mensch is the portrait of a man, both player and witness, who, to keep a promise that he made to his mother, has dedicated his life to fighting for humanity in the world. David Susskind is a fighter. He is an explosive mixture: visionary and pragmatic, naïve and calculating, patriarch and political animal, authoritarian and generous. Having taken an active part in all the great combats of Judaism over the past sixty years, he has lived his entire life according to his convictions, transmitting his values of openness and peace to others at the same time.
